Job summary

Condominium Associates in Tampa, FL is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to maintain cleanliness of condo and HOA common areas, amenities, and facilities to a high standard of safety and presentation for residents and guests.

You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and onsite team to perform routine and detailed cleaning, monitor conditions, and report maintenance or safety concerns to management. The role supports a welcoming, well-kept community.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, facilities, or cleaning preferred.
  • Experience in condo/HOA, hotel, resort, healthcare, or commercial environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safe chemical handling.
  • Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to follow schedules, procedures, and written instructions.
  • Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout assigned condominium and homeowners' association facilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, clubhouses, lounges, fitness centers, restrooms, and other shared spaces.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, polishing, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Clean and maintain restrooms, including fixtures, mirrors, floors, counters, and replenishing supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of amenity areas including pools, patios, recreation areas, and resident gathering spaces.
  • Remove trash and recycling from designated areas and ensure proper disposal procedures are followed.
  • Maintain cleaning supply inventory and notify management when supplies require replenishment.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and maintain consistent service standards.
  • Perform detailed cleaning assignments, including deep cleaning of assigned areas as scheduled.
  • Assist with preparing community areas for resident events, meetings, and activities.
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, damaged equipment, leaks, or facility concerns to management.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure tools are used properly and safely.
  • Follow all safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and company policies.
  • Assist onsite management and maintenance teams with general facility support as needed.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with residents, guests, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working within residential communities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Community Association Manager.

Position Overview

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of assigned condominium and homeowners' association common areas , amenities, and facilities. This position ensures that community spaces are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and presentation while supporting a positive resident experience.

The Housekeeping Attendant works closely with the Maintenance Manager, Community Association Manager, and onsite team to perform routine and detailed cleaning services, maintain community standards, monitor facility conditions, and report maintenance or safety concerns. This role supports the association’s commitment to providing clean, welcoming, and well-maintained environments for residents, guests, and visitors.

Core Responsibilities
