Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily cleaning, interact with residents, and follow infection control policies to ensure high standards of hygiene and service.

Starting pay is USD 10.00 per hour, with benefits and ongoing training. This is a hands-on role that emphasizes reliability, communication, and teamwork within the care community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
