Qualifications

• Able to safely lift 50 pounds independently and with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, moving of equipment, climbing, bending, and stooping.
• Routinely performs duties in a safe and conscientious manner.
• Able to follow instructions and work harmoniously with others.
• Familiar with basic house cleaning devices: brooms, mops, floor waxers, polishers.
• Willingness to work with elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans vacant apartments and readies them for occupancy.
• Assumes cleaning responsibilities for all residences and common areas on a scheduled basis.
• Keeps all areas of the community clean, neat, attractive and safe for residents, guests and team members at all times.
• Laundry of linens including sorting, washing, folding and delivery.
• Maintains housekeeping cart in a clean and orderly manner.
• Notifies the Management of maintenance needs.
• Follows safe guidelines for the use of specific chemicals, familiar with emergency procedures if chemicals are misused.
• Presents a professional demeanor to residents, communicating the corporate philosophy of service with care.
• Training housekeeping team
• Assisting with housekeeping schedule
• Other duties as assigned.
