Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a friendly Housekeeper for Ivy Park at Simi Valley to maintain clean resident apartments and community spaces, and to handle resident laundry with care. The role supports residents with dignity and comfort in a senior living setting.

This position emphasizes safety, reliable communication with residents and staff, and teamwork. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; a HS diploma or equivalent is required, with background checks and health screenings part

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Oakmont may require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing and PPE as per regulatory guidelines.

The Housekeeper

is responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas and doing laundry for both the residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner, in accordance with the company's mission, vision, and values.
