Job summary

Sagora Senior Living in Sherman, TX is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to ensure clean and sanitary residences for residents across independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities.

You will sanitize, vacuum, launder linens, and assist with general housekeeping while adhering to safety standards and supporting a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of work experience in a hospitality environment preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and tolerate fumes, dust, and pet dander
• Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 30 pounds; push/pull up to 100 pounds

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize residences and contents (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning kitchens and baths, turning mattresses, moving light furniture, disposing trash)
• Perform cleaning duties in resident apartments, offices, bathrooms, and common areas
• Assist with cleaning and refurbishing vacated residences as they become vacant
• Wash, dry, fold, and store linens and other laundry for the community and residents
• Coordinate delivery and return of resident laundry
• Keep housekeeping carts clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
