SUHRCO Residential Properties is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness of common areas within our residential communities in Seattle. The role emphasizes safety, resident satisfaction, and consistent upkeep across indoor and outdoor spaces.

The ideal candidate has prior cleaning experience, can work 8am-4pm on weekends, communicates in English, and collaborates well with teammates while also handling tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of community facilities, including common areas, restrooms, and shared spaces, ensuring consistent adherence to cleanliness standards.
• Maintain organization and sanitation of assigned areas, identifying and addressing cleaning needs proactively.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning agents in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance or repair needs to leadership.
• Work collaboratively with team members while also managing assigned tasks independently.
• Provide courteous and professional interactions with residents, guests, and team members.
• Maintain flexibility and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as needed.

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of community facilities to support a safe and welcoming environment. This role ensures high standards of cleanliness across shared spaces while contributing to a positive resident experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of community facilities, including common areas, restrooms, and shared spaces, ensuring consistent adherence to cleanliness standards

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work 8am-4pm weekend schedule
• Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or related cleaning experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and consistent work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in residential communities, hospitality, or similar environments
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and products

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
• Mobility: Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive cleaning motions throughout the shift
• Working Conditions: Primarily onsite in indoor and outdoor community spaces; may include exposure to varying temperatures and environmental conditions
• Personal Protective Gear: Use of gloves and other protective equipment as required when handling cleaning supplies and materials
• Extended Sitting or Standing: Ability to stand and move for extended periods during scheduled shifts
• Manual Dexterity: Ability to operate cleaning tools and equipment and use mobile devices or basic reporting tools as needed
• Driving: Not typically required; if required for specific communities, must maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
