Position

HOUSEKEEPER

Housekeepers handle light cleaning needed for the upkeep of homes as well as commercial buildings, such as offices, hotels, and hospitals. Typically they'll replace bedding, clean rooms, halls and bathrooms, vacuum, sweep, mop, replace toiletries and make beds.

Responsibilities

• Safe handling of cleaning products and chemicals and proper operation of cleaning equipment.
• Clean a specified number of rooms within a designated amount of time.
• Clean restrooms, furniture, hallways, stairways, and other areas as assigned.
• Change bed linens and make the beds.

Qualifications

Must be able to read and understand safety signs and rules. Must be able to work on your own schedule and meet the expectations of the position. Participants in this position will primarily be responsible for completing room attendant duties and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility.
