Job summary

The Peninsula Regent in San Mateo, California is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to create a clean, comfortable, and inviting living environment for residents while delivering outstanding customer service. Duties include cleaning resident apartments and common areas, restocking supplies, and following safety and infection control procedures.

Pay is $19.57 per hour with DOE, and schedule is Monday to Friday 8am–4:30pm PST, with some weekends possible.

We are seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to help create a clean, comfortable, and inviting living environment for residents while delivering outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Clean resident apartments, common areas, offices, and public spaces according to established quality standards.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, sanitize, and restock supplies to maintain a safe and attractive environment.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident housekeeping requests and concerns.
• Follow infection control, safety, and chemical handling procedures while performing daily tasks.
• Support special cleaning projects and assist with maintaining the overall appearance of the community.

Pay

$19.57 / hr DOE

Schedule

Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm PST flexibility to work some weekends 7:00am to 3:30pm

About You

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, or environmental services experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
