Belmont Village Senior Living in San Diego is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help keep resident apartments, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and shared areas clean and welcoming, reflecting our hospitality standards from day one.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of professional housekeeping experience in hotels, senior living, or similar multi‑unit settings, is reliable and detail‑oriented, and enjoys teamwork in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Housekeeper in hotels or similar setting.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work independently and efficiently.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments and bathrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, beds, and carpets.
• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and return resident laundry.
• Maintain hallways, offices, and common areas with cleaning and dusting.
• Empty trash and restock supplies; dispose of waste properly.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Housekeeper at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will help keep our community clean, comfortable, and welcoming for residents and guests. You will clean resident apartments, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and shared areas while helping maintain the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality our residents deserve.

The ideal candidate has professional housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort, senior living community, healthcare setting, or other multi‑unit environment. We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper or Room Attendant who is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating clean and welcoming spaces. You enjoy helping others, working as part of a team, and staying active while completing your work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments and bathrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, making beds, and spot‑cleaning carpets.
• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and return resident laundry to the correct apartment.
• Clean and maintain hallways, offices, and common areas throughout the community, including dusting, vacuuming, and spot‑cleaning carpets.
• Clean and sanitize common‑area bathrooms, restock supplies, and keep them fresh, clean, and ready for residents and guests.
• Empty trash, replace liners, and properly dispose of waste throughout the community.
• Follow housekeeping, sanitation, and safety procedures to help maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful service and communicate professionally with residents, families, guests, and team members.
• Help create a welcoming environment by making cleanliness, hospitality, and resident satisfaction a priority every day.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Housekeeper in hotels or comparable setting
• Ability to organize and prioritize work independently and efficiently
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Ability to work assigned shifts which may include early morning, weekends and holidays
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
