Job summary

AC Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our downtown hotel team. You will clean guest rooms to brand standards, refresh occupied spaces, and ensure everything is inviting for guests' stays.

Work closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other teams to deliver a great guest experience. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, but training is provided; high attention to detail and reliability are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hotel experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in clean spaces.
• Dependable with regular attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly and professional when interacting with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Willingness to follow Marriott brand standards and Avion Hospitality policies.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to brand standards.
• Make beds, replace linens, clean bathrooms, dust, vacuum.
• Restock towels, toiletries, coffee supplies.
• Remove trash and used linens.
• Stock and organize housekeeping cart with supplies.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, and lost-and-found items promptly.
• Complete assigned deep-cleaning and special housekeeping projects as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized hallways, housekeeping areas, and other spaces.
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and guest privacy procedures.
• Greet guests and coworkers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and other hotel teams.
• Complete the assigned number of guest rooms while maintaining quality and cleanliness standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by hotel leadership.

Join the housekeeping team at the AC Hotel & Element San Antonio Riverwalk, a unique dual-brand hotel in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Under newly managed leadership, we're building a team that takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for every guest who walks through our doors.

As a Housekeeper, you play an important role in the guest experience. You'll be responsible for preparing guest rooms to brand standards, refreshing occupied rooms, maintaining clean and inviting spaces, and making sure every detail is ready for our guests to enjoy their stay.

Whether a guest is visiting San Antonio for one night or settling into an extended stay at Element, your attention to detail helps create the experience they remember.

What You'll Do

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to AC Hotel, Element, and Avion Hospitality standards.
• Make beds, replace linens, clean bathrooms, dust, vacuum, and maintain guest room surfaces.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hotel experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
