Job summary

Asset Living in Reno, NV is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean our apartment community’s public facilities, common areas, and grounds, and to handle the make-ready process under the Community Manager’s supervision prior to move-in.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA, and regular onsite attendance. This safety-sensitive role may require overtime, weekends, and night hours with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

HOUSEKEEPER The Housekeeper is responsible for daily cleaning the apartment community’s public facilities, common areas, and grounds. Housekeeper is also responsible for the cleaning make-ready process in a manner consistent with the property’s operational objectives under the supervision of the Community Manager prior to move-in.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Education/experience

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, step stools and the like, move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces, remain in a stationary position, either standing or sitting for prolonged periods, communicate with others to exchange information, repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers,
• The employee is frequently required to lift and place objects up to 25 lbs., be able to work overtime, weekends, and night hours (emergencies), be exposed to hazardous chemicals.
• The employee is occasionally required to work in an overhead position and reach, adjust or move objects up to 25 lbs., operate machinery and power tools, operate motor vehicles and/or golf carts, assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned, identify and inspect objects, work in extremely low or high temperatures, work in outdoor environments such as precipitation and wind, work in small and/or enclosed spaces, traverse flat and non-flat terrain

Salary Range: $18 per hour to $18 per hour
