Job summary

South Port Square in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a hospitality-driven Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of resident apartments, common areas, and the healthcare center as applicable.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, bathroom/kitchen cleaning, dusting, and laundry tasks to support a welcoming living environment for residents. Must have a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months of housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to six months’ experience in housekeeping or janitorial preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, dusting all surfaces in apartments and common areas.
• Cleaning hallways and other common areas as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain and care for equipment and supplies; ensure a neat, attractive environment for residents.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks to support a clean, comfortable living space for residents.

About The Role

Our Housekeepers are responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of our resident private apartment homes, common areas throughout the community, and our healthcare center, as applicable.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Housekeeper:

• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
• Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Three to six months’ experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.

Salary: From $15.00 per hour
