Oakmont Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper in Pleasanton, CA to clean resident apartments, public areas, and laundry for residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high-quality service in a senior living environment. Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred; candidates must be at least 18 with a high school diploma, and excellent customer service skills are required.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal skills to interact with staff, physicians, residents, and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Pay Range: $17.80/hr - $18.80/hr

The Housekeeper

is responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas and doing laundry for both the residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner, in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
