Accel at Willowbend in Plano, TX is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the facility. The role involves routine and specialized cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and offices in accordance with policies and infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry operations preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, hospitality, or commercial laundry preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, offices, and other assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and maintain sanitary conditions throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and proper disposal of waste according to facility procedures.
• Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies as needed.
• Safely operate housekeeping equipment and properly use cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Prepare resident rooms for new admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Respond promptly to spills, environmental hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain clean, organized housekeeping carts, closets, equipment, and supply areas.
• Respect resident privacy, dignity, belongings, and personal space while performing assigned duties.
• Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, or resident concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Complete assigned cleaning schedules, checklists, and other required documentation.
• Perform deep cleaning and other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Safety Precautions

• Knowledge and understanding on how to properly use cleaning chemicals according to Safety Data Sheets.

Qualifications:

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, hospitality, or commercial laundry experience preferred but not required.
