Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. in Missouri is seeking a part-time housekeeper to support our properties with 24 hours of work weekly over 3 to 4 days. You will maintain clean public areas, assist in unit turnover, and help create welcoming communities for residents.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of housekeeping experience. This role reports to the property manager and requires attention to detail, reliability, and a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, community rooms, and other public areas.
• Dust furniture, baseboards, light fixtures, blinds, ceiling fans and any other object that may collect dust in hallways, community rooms, and other public areas.
• Clean all components of public restrooms, including floors, sinks, toilets and mirrors.
• Collect garbage from public trash receptacles.
• Polish hardwood and metal surfaces in all public areas.
• Clean windows in public areas.
• Assist in turning units by conducting a deep clean of the apartment unit in preparation for a new resident moving in.
• Report directly to property manager and handles any delegated tasks.
• Be alert to any emergencies, health and safety concerns and notify appropriate staff.
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with residents, vendors, and other staff members.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of housekeeping or cleaning experience

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• This role involves cleaning our apartments during our make ready process, this work includes but not limited to scrubbing and thoroughly cleaning any ceiling fans, baseboards, floors, walls, bathtubs, toilets, as well as the public areas of the property.
