Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain flooring throughout the community.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and other high-touch areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Empty trash and properly dispose of waste.
• Make beds and assist with linen changes as needed.
• Maintain clean and inviting hallways, lounges, dining spaces, and other common areas.
• Restock supplies and communicate when additional items are needed.
• Complete deeper cleaning projects and room preparation as assigned.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident housekeeping needs.
• Follow established cleaning, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures.

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and service-minded Housekeeper to join our team at Hillcrest Grand Lodge in Papillion, NE.

What You’ll Do

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming spaces throughout Hillcrest Grand Lodge.

You Will

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments and assigned areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain flooring throughout the community.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and other high-touch areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.

• Keep housekeeping carts clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Restock supplies and communicate when additional items are needed.

• Respond promptly and professionally to resident housekeeping needs.
• Follow established cleaning, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately.
• Work closely with other departments to help maintain a comfortable community environment.
• Jump in wherever needed to help Hillcrest Grand Lodge look and feel its best.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be able to safely perform the physical duties associated with housekeeping.
• Must be able to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
• Must be able to safely use housekeeping equipment and cleaning products.
• Must be flexible and calm when responding to resident, family, guest, or team needs.
• Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must follow established sanitation, infection-control, and safety procedures.
• Possible exposure to cleaning chemicals, communicable diseases, and bodily fluids.
