Job summary

Edenbrook Oshkosh, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is seeking a Full-time Housekeeper for our skilled nursing facility. The work schedule is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with Every Other Weekend.

Primary duties include cleaning resident rooms, laundering linens, and following infection-control guidelines. The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience, be able to read and write at the job level, and communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff.
• Knowledge of infection control techniques.
• Ability to be patient and polite.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and other areas of the facility.
• Perform laundry duties, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and resident clothing in accordance with facility standards.
• Safely mix, use, and store cleaning solutions according to safety guidelines.
• Properly label and remove infectious waste bags and containers, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.
• Perform additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Conduct all job responsibilities in accordance with the standards outlined in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and professional standards.
