Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will interact with residents and staff to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and care, following infection control guidelines and safety procedures.

Starting pay is USD $15.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for training and development. The role requires physical ability to perform routine cleaning tasks and residency within the service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with occupants and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
