Hermitage Hall, part of Universal Health Services in the Nashville area, seeks a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across buildings, resident rooms, offices and common areas. The role may supervise residents in cleaning tasks and support a safe, therapeutic environment for children and teens in residential care.

Requirements include a High School diploma, at least 1 year of related experience, a valid TN driver’s license, and the ability to work in a team.

Hermitage Hall is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Hermitage Hall is one of Middle Tennessee's largest stand-alone psychiatric residential treatment Hospitals. Licensed by Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a mental health residential treatment center for children and youth, Hermitage Hall has provided services to families for over 30 years. Located southwest of downtown Nashville, off I-65 at the Wedgewood exit, away from the congestion of downtown Nashville, our team of over 130 high-quality employees describe working here as family oriented, therapeutic, value clarifying. Our nurses, mental health assistants, psychiatrist, and therapists serve hundreds of children and adolescents annually, with the common goal of treating and healing trauma and building resiliency in children and adolescents.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of Hermitage Hall buildings. Cleans residents’ rooms, offices, staff bathrooms, administration and any other area where needed. Supervises and instructs residents in the proper method and degree of cleaning, inspects and insures cleanliness of units and common areas. May supervise the resident work crew in the cleaning of the common areas of the building and grounds as well as special projects. Must be able to work in a team with other housekeeping employees.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Supply and collection of linen and towels for residents.
• Follows and abides by company policies, procedures, and corporate compliance program, as applicable to role and responsibilities
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
