Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented housekeeper/custodian for residential and commercial properties in Mount Laurel, NJ. You will maintain clean, healthy, and safe spaces by performing routine sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, and supporting supply orders.

The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to safety standards. The schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 6pm to 9:30pm, with a focus on providing excellent service to tenants, guests, and vendors while upholding

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial or custodial roles using cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Able to work on a team as well as independently when needed.
• Strong reporting and clear verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Dusting and polishing surfaces throughout the building, including countertops, furniture, and fixtures.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathrooms, toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans and cleaning windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages and needed repairs.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 6pm-9:30pm

Pay: $16.25 per hour

Summary

Residential and commercial property owners, now more than ever, realize how big a role Janitors play in protecting the health of tenants, guests, and vendors. So, Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is looking to hire friendly and detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to provide common area and bathroom cleaning services.

You’ll be ensuring tenants, guests and vendors have a clean, healthy, and safe property to live or work in. It’s important to be polite and respectful as well as thorough and observant of what more can be done to provide the highest level of service.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Dusting and polishing surfaces throughout the building that include but are not limited to countertops, upholstered furniture, and light fixtures.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans as well as washing and drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages, and needed repairs.

Requirements:

• Willing to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Experience in similar roles using cleaning products, equipment to clean floors and carpets.
• Able to work on a team as well as independently when needed.
• Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
