50 Harmony Drive, Morgantown, West Virginia 26505Job DescriptionThe Lead Housekeeper shall be responsible for the day to day oversight of the housekeeping department, including completing housekeeping schedules, as well as cleaning common living areas and resident apartments in the community.ResponsibilitiesProvide supervision and training for housekeeping staff daily.Complete housekeeping work schedules.Assist with finding coverage for staff call-outs.Oversee cleaning of the entire facility, with particular emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms.Complete maintenance request reports when needed.Report deterioration or damage to the building and furnishings to the Housekeeping Supervisor.Operate laundry equipment when needed.Report inadequate quantities of all supplies needed to perform duties to the Maintenance Director.Use only approved cleaning products and ensure all cleaning supplies are properly stored at all times.Clean office areas when assigned.Dust and clean all window blinds throughout the community.Dust all furniture, bookshelves, and other surfaces in resident apartments and common areas.Vacuum common areas and resident apartments.Keep common areas and resident bathrooms clean.Clean apartments at resident move-out.Attend required in-services and staff meetings.Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.Follow all policies regarding the release of resident information.RequirementsMust have a High School Diploma or GED.Must have housekeeping experience as well as experience in a leadership role.Ability to encourage, coach, and direct housekeeping staff.Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills to ensure completion of tasks.Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time.Ability to work well with others as part of a team.Must be polite and courteous to all residents, visitors, co-workers, and members of the management team.Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push, and pull for extended periods of time.Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and carry heavy objects for up to 20 feet.Must wear the designated uniform during work hours and maintain good personal hygiene.Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment becauseWhy Harmony?401k + Fulltime & Part-time Benefits PackagesTraining, Development & Career LadderingGreat work-life balanceFlexible Scheduling
