Job summary

Ridgeview Institute Monroe is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to support our treatment team and help create a therapeutic environment for patients across ages.

You will perform routine cleaning of patient and public areas, stock supplies, assist the Housekeeping Supervisor, and follow infection control and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Preferably one year of housekeeping experience.
• May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine floor cleaning of patient, public areas and offices.
• Operate vacuums, buffers, extractors and related equipment.
• Clean areas with disinfectants and refill supplies.
• Keep supply closets clean and orderly.
• Store cleaning equipment safely away from patients.
• Assist Housekeeping Supervisor and other staff as needed.
• Report health or safety concerns affecting patients or staff.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety procedures.

• Perform routine floor cleaning tasks of patient and public areas and offices.
• Vacuums, buffers, extractors, dispensers and various other related equipment.
• Clean areas with disinfectants.
• Refill supplies (paper products, soap, etc.).
• Assures that supply closets are kept clean and orderly.
• Keep cleaning supplies and equipment safely stored when not in use and away from patients’ access when in use.
• Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor in other duties assigned.
• Assist other departmental staff, as requested.
• Report any situations that may affect the health and well-being of patients or employees.
• Assist in assuring a safe and risk-preventive environment.
• Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations and Safety/Risk Management plans, policies and procedures.

Your Experience Matters What We’re Looking For

• Education: High school diploma preferred.
• Experience: Preferably one (1) year experience in a housekeeping field.
• Additional Skill Requirements: May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

Compensation

This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range is $13.50 - $16.00 hourly. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Housekeeper!
