Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will help create a comfortable living space for residents while supporting the care team.

Join our team and contribute to resident comfort and positive experiences for staff and guests; training and support are provided. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with benefits available; you will work on-site in a community-focused role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
