Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate for a medical facility in Mobile, AL. The role involves cleaning patient rooms, restocking supplies, and maintaining strict infection control, with a weekend schedule on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The position starts weekends-only with a path to full-time based on attendance and performance. The duties include linen changes, waste disposal, and maintaining clean, safe public spaces while

Responsibilities

• Change linens, clean surfaces, and restock supplies
• Appropriate handling and disposal of medical waste
• Clean & disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, waiting areas, and other public spaces
• Adhere to strict infection control procedures, such as proper hand hygiene
• Properly disposing of various types of waste, including regular trash and potentially hazardous medical waste, according to established protocols
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly used, maintained, and stored
• Communicating effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff, and interacting with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner

Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working Housekeeping Associate for a medical facility in Mobile, AL.

Pay Rate

1ST Shift- $13.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Saturday & Sunday 7a-3:30pm

To start weekends only, can transition to full time with perfect attendance and solid performance

Duties and Responsibilities

• Change linens, clean surfaces, and restock supplies
• Appropriate handling and disposal of medical waste
• Clean & disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, waiting areas, and other public spaces
• Adhere to strict infection control procedures, such as proper hand hygiene
• Properly disposing of various types of waste, including regular trash and potentially hazardous medical waste, according to established protocols
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly used, maintained, and stored
• Communicating effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff, and interacting with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner

Qualifications and Requirements

• The ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• A keen eye for detail is necessary to ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection
• Effectively managing time to complete assigned tasks within established timeframe
• Clear and effective communication with colleagues
• Background and Drug Screen are required for this position
• 25lb lift throughout workday (in office assessment will be conducted)
