Job summary

Cardinal Senior Living LLC is seeking a diligent Housekeeper in Millersville, PA. You will perform housekeeping for resident rooms and common areas, following a daily schedule and ensuring safety and comfort for residents. The role is full-time on a 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. shift, with starting pay of $15.00 per hour.

Experience in a senior living facility is preferred. Benefits include PTO, 401K with company match, and voluntary benefits. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned wing rooms, common areas, and assist residents as needed.
• Follow the cleaning schedule set by the Director of Housekeeping.
• Vacuum carpets and disinfect floors, walls, bathrooms.
• Empty trash and clean bathrooms, wash windows and furniture.
• Replenish bathroom supplies and toiletries for residents.
• Strip beds and reapply resident sheets; handle laundry as needed.
• Observe residents and report changes in care to the floor director.

Housekeeper

Responsible for housekeeping of assigned wing rooms, common areas, and assisting the needs of the residents.

Full Time - shift time for this position is 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The starting pay for this position is $15.00

Job Duties

• Be ethical, respectful, responsive, reliable, authentic, innovative and empathetic.
• Follow cleaning schedule established by the Director of Housekeeping for that day.
• Clean assigned areas, furnishings, fixtures, movable and stationary furniture.
• Empty trash bins and clean bathroom showers, sinks, toilets.
• Vacuuming carpets in rooms, common areas, and hallways.
• Disinfect floors, walls, bathrooms; Wash windows and furniture.
• Replenish bathroom supplies and toiletries for residents.
• Dusting and sanitizing surfaces such as baseboards, stairways, elevators, entrances and exits.
• Reporting supply and equipment needs to the Housekeeping Director.
• Stripping beds and reapplying residents sheets to bed
• Laundry for the bed sheets and residents clothes.
• Observations of residents and report of changes in level of care or behavior to the CMT on that floor.
