Job summary

Castle Group is seeking a dedicated Janitor/Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of common areas across the community, indoors and outdoors, while delivering exceptional guest service in line with our values and mission.

The selected professional will perform diverse housekeeping duties, operate cleaning equipment, restock supplies, and assist with event setup. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork with internal staff and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a pristine appearance for the property and operates all equipment as needed for tasks.
• Empties trash cans, ashtrays, and all sanitary receptacles.
• Vacuums, sweeps, polishes, and mops floors.
• Straightens furniture, dusts and removes fingerprints from all surfaces.
• Polishes windows, glass doors, brass, mirrors, and bright work.
• Checks all light bulbs.
• Cleans and disinfects countertops, and sinks.
• Cleans appliances, inside and out.
• Restocks towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers.
• Sanitizes all bathroom bowls, sinks, partitions, and urinals daily.
• Wipes down and disinfects fitness equipment.
• Maintains pool deck and straightens storerooms.
• Straightens and washes pool deck furniture.
• Sets rooms up for events and meetings daily and as necessary.
• Cleans and resets rooms after events.
• Creates necessary work orders.
• Maintains supply inventory and orders supplies as needed.
• Assists in hurricane preparation.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s).
• Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing duties.
• Advises supervisor of any issues.
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Job description

Responsible for cleanliness of common areas within the community including both indoor and outdoor areas. The Janitor/Housekeeper also provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group. He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of Castle Royal Service.
