Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for The Pearl at East Cobb in Marietta, GA. This full-time role involves cleaning resident rooms and common areas, following detailed cleaning checklists, and ensuring supplies are stocked.

Flexible scheduling and weekend work are required to support our assisted living community. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience; infection control knowledge is essential to maintain a safe

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures.
• Experience working in assisted living or healthcare settings is a plus.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Follow the cleaning worksheet/checklist for all rooms and common areas.
• Prepare cleaning solutions and manage water/detergent quantities as specified.
• Use cleaners and equipment safely to protect floors and fixtures.
• Clean resident rooms and common areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Steam clean or shampoo carpets as needed.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; move furniture as required.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces with cleaners and squeegees.
• Replace supplies in bathrooms (toilet paper, towels, soap).
• Notify supervisor of major repairs or system needs in the maintenance log.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

Housekeeping

• Follow detailed cleaning worksheet/ checklist for each room and common area
• Responsible for the set-up and mixing of water and detergents, in proper containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Clean community common area and resident room(s) floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and / or vacuuming
• Steam clean or shampoo carpet
• Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment which include moving furniture around
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaner, sponges and squeegees
• Make adjustments to heating cooling and ventilation system which may include changing filters
• Gather and empty trash
• Remove debris from outdoor porches, parking lot and dumpster area
• Ensure all bathrooms (common area, resident) are stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex and liquid and soap
• Replace light bulbs throughout the community
• Ensure all suites that have 2 residents residing are cleaned twice a week
• Notify supervisor, by documenting in the maintenance log and housekeeping checklist, concerning the need for major repairs or additions to the building operating systems

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

Housekeeper

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required
• One (1) year job related experience
