Jaybird Senior Living in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join our team. The role works 2 days a week, cleaning apartments, public and private areas, and handling laundry to maintain a warm, safe environment for residents and staff.

You will follow safety guidelines, use cleaning supplies properly, and collaborate with care teams to support residents’ comfort and dignity. A high school diploma or GED and a friendly, patient manner are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly housekeeping services and additional tasks per residents’ plans.
• Clean apartments, common areas, and laundry as needed.
• Maintain inventory and storage of cleaning and laundry supplies.
• Use PPE and cleaning chemicals safely.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in all community areas.
• Report hazards, submit work orders, and respond to alarms.
• Assist residents, visitors, and team members as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and in-services.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times.

Housekeeper

We are seeking a PT Housekeeper to join our team. The position would work 2 days a week helping deep clean public and private areas at Autumn Grace and Waters Edge Assisted Living. Our Housekeepers deliver the “Red Carpet Treatment” to every resident, visitor, and team member. You’ll play a key role in creating a warm, clean, and welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for every day. This position involves cleaning apartments, laundry, and common areas, while helping maintain the overall beauty and safety of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide weekly housekeeping services and any additional services outlined in residents’ Individualized Service Plans.
• Maintain and manage inventory, requisition, and storage of all cleaning and laundry supplies.
• Use personal protective equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and appropriately.
• Ensure cleanliness in apartments, common areas, dining spaces, and other community areas.
• Identify hazards or unsafe conditions and report them promptly to management.
• Document maintenance needs and submit work orders when necessary.
• Respond appropriately to smoke or fire alarms.
• Answer phones courteously and assist residents, visitors, and team members as needed.
• Participate actively in safety committees, staff meetings, and bi-weekly in-services.
• Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA regulations at all times.
• Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and state regulations related to Assisted Living.
• Complete incident reports as required for residents, self, or co-workers.
