Job summary

ARK is hiring a professional housekeeper to ensure our hotel guests have a wonderful stay. You will perform basic cleaning tasks such as making beds, washing sheets, mopping, dusting, ironing, restocking supplies, and keeping restrooms and public areas clean and orderly.

Ideal candidates are personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team, with at least 1 year of experience and a high school diploma or GED. Compensation ranges from $16.90 to $17.25 per hour, on-site in Madera, California.

Qualifications

• Over 1 year of professional housekeeper experience preferred.
• Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques.
• Impeccable work ethic and strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean and arrange hotel rooms to the hotel’s standards before guest arrival
• Respond to guests' general inquiries
• Record which rooms were cleaned and report lost and found items or damages
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas like hallways, restrooms, and lobby
• Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, restock toiletries, and do laundry as needed
