Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island is hiring Resort Housekeepers for the 2026 summer season. The role involves cleaning guest rooms and public areas to high standards, restocking amenities, and reporting maintenance issues.

Applicants should be able to live and work on Mackinac Island, with a focus on teamwork, reliability, and guest‑centered service. Experience in housekeeping is preferred but not required; a high school diploma is preferred.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly
• Location requirement: must be able to live and work on Mackinac Island during the season

At Mission Point Resort—Mackinac Island’s only full-service, casually elegant resort—our Housekeeping Team plays a vital role in delivering the comfort and warmth that define our guest experience. We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Resort Housekeepers to help maintain clean, comfortable, and inviting guest rooms and public spaces across our property.

About the Role

Resort Housekeepers ensure guest rooms and common areas are cleaned to high standards, well-stocked, and guest‑ready each day. Responsibilities include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, restocking amenities, and reporting maintenance issues. This role is essential to ensuring the resort consistently delivers an exceptional stay.

You’ll work in a supportive, multicultural environment where teamwork, efficiency, and a positive attitude are key. Successful housekeepers take pride in their work, stay focused in a fast‑paced setting, and contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
