Job summary

Marshall Health Care and Rehabilitation in Machias, ME is seeking a part-time housekeeper to maintain a clean, attractive, and safe environment for residents and staff.

You will work days, typically with every other weekend, and receive tuition reimbursement and education support to grow your career. Full-time benefits include medical/dental/vision, employer-paid life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) with employer contributions. All offers require excellent references and a Maine background check.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Prior cleaning or healthcare experience preferred; and we are very happy to train!
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs floor to waist; lift 10 lbs waist to shoulder; lift and carry 30 lbs; and push/pull 40 lbs.
• Learn about regulations and guidelines governing environmental services functions in the long-term care facility

Responsibilities

• Keep the facility clean, attractive, and safe for residents and staff.
• Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks as part of a caring team.
• Maintain a positive impression with residents, families, and visitors.
