Job summary

Wheatridge Park Care Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors in Liberal, KS. You will perform daily cleaning tasks to keep the facility attractive, sanitary, and compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities include waste management, restroom sanitation, and floor care. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is desirable but not required. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• 1 year experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Empty, clean, and reline waste receptacles throughout the facility.
• Perform routine cleaning of restrooms, fixtures, walls, floors, and stock supplies.
• Wash walls, windows, doors, and door frames to maintain a fresh appearance.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform other cleaning duties as needed.
• Keep equipment, cords, and carts safely out of walkways; ensure exits are clear and compliant with safety codes.

About the Role:

Join our team as a Housekeeper, where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. In this position, you’ll carry out daily housekeeping tasks to keep our facility attractive, sanitary, and in compliance with all laws, regulations, and community standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Empty, clean, and reline waste receptacles throughout the facility
• Perform routine cleaning of restrooms, including fixtures, walls, floors, and exposed plumbing, and ensure supplies like paper towels and soap are stocked
• Wash walls, windows, doors, and door frames to maintain a fresh appearance
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform other cleaning duties as needed
• Keep all equipment, cords, and carts safely out of walkways and ensure exits remain clear, in compliance with fire codes
