Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily cleaning tasks and interact positively with residents and staff to help deliver excellent care.

Join a team that values initiative, infection control, and reliable service. On-site, Lake Geneva, WI, residency in the service area is preferred; prior housekeeping experience is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.


• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.


• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.


• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.


• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.


• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.


• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.


• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies


• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.


• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.


• Must be able to work around cleaning products.


• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.


• Residency within the service area required
