Job summary

Dial Senior Living in Illinois is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper working Wednesday through Sunday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. The role focuses on maintaining a pristine, welcoming community for residents and supporting daily living activities with respect and discretion.

You will clean apartments, restrooms, and common areas, observe safety and infection control protocols, and collaborate with staff to ensure resident comfort and privacy.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks.
• Ability to lift arms above head to reach areas.
• Teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments, restrooms, and community common areas following established schedule.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces and floors.
• Empty trash containers on a regularly scheduled basis and as needed.
• Clean interior windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
• Maintain equipment and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow chemical safety protocol and infection control procedures.
• Ensure a safe living environment for residents, while respecting residents’ privacy, dignity, and personal belongings at all times.
• Report concerns or observation about resident unusual behavior to supervisor.
• Report needed supplies and/or equipment repairs to supervisor.
• Assist with apartment-flips or specialized cleaning tasks, as assigned.
• Respond to requests from residents and staff promptly and efficiently.
• Report any on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, community operations and personnel.

Education, Experience And Other Requirements

• Must be age 18 or older
