JOB SUMMARY:Cleans and services areas within the facility under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager. Is responsible for general building appearance and individual housekeeping services provided to each resident.MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Cleans and services designated areas within the facility.2. Ensures that resident apartments, bathrooms, meeting rooms, lounges, halls, offices andcommon areas are maintained in superior condition.3. Cleans, mops and vacuums floors.4. Dusts furniture, equipment; high and low dusting of walls, etc.5. Cleans windows and sills; empties trash containers; arranges furniture and equipment in anorderly fashion.6. Scours and polishes bathtubs, sinks, mirrors and similar equipment.7. Replenishes and maintains adequate supplies of soap, paper towels and bath tissue in allcommon area bathrooms.8. Polishes brass; cleans and polishes glass panels in doors and partitions.9. Maintains utility storage areas in acceptable fashion.10. Ensures cleaning cart supplies are replenished and in good order.11. Other tasks as requested or assigned.MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT USED:Brooms, mops, dusters, dusting rags, cleaning solutions/chemicals; housekeeping carts, floor cleaning and polishing machines and equipment; other materials, equipment, cleaning supplies necessary to the performance of job duties of Housekeeper.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:Education and ExperienceHigh School graduate or GED.
