Job summary

Comfort Inn - Kearney in Nebraska is hiring housekeepers to join our team and help provide clean, comfortable guest rooms with friendly service.

The role involves cleaning guest rooms, handling laundry, and supporting the front office by responding to guest needs. The position requires daytime shifts, weekend availability, and a willingness to assist with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not required.
• Daytime hours are guaranteed.
• Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including changing bed and bath linens, removing trash and debris, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart to maximize efficiency.
• Assist with laundry as needed, including sorting, loading and unloading washers and dryers, folding, storing, and delivering linens to storage areas.
• Follow all hotel safety and security procedures to help maintain a safe environment for employees and guests.
• Perform other duties as requested.
