Role Description

The Housekeeper role at CoralTree Hospitality is a full-time, on-site position located in Honolulu, HI. A Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and replenishing amenities. The role includes handling laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels according to property standards. Housekeepers ensure that rooms and common spaces meet cleanliness, safety, and presentation expectations, promptly report maintenance issues, and follow all health and safety procedures. The position also involves engaging with guests in a professional, courteous manner, responding to requests, and supporting team members to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Strong housekeeping skills, including room cleaning, surface sanitizing, and attention to detail in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Experience with laundry operations such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens efficiently.
• Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Solid organization skills to manage supplies, prioritize tasks, and maintain orderly storage and work areas.
• Ability to participate in and support training, including learning new procedures and helping peers adapt to standards.
• Capability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift; adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, especially in resort or lifestyle properties.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
