Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. Join a team dedicated to positively impacting communities and enhancing resident experiences.

Responsibilities include daily housekeeping, sanitation, record-keeping, infection control, and exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and guests. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products. Residency in the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are important.
• Must be able to follow safety and infection-control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
