Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a part-time housekeeper to support our residents by performing daily cleaning tasks in their rooms and in common areas. Pay starts at $16.00 per hour, with opportunities to earn more based on experience.

This on-site role follows a schedule of Every Other Weekend from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and includes benefits such as Highmark Blue Shield, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays and more, plus meals on

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks required.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping tasks in residents' rooms and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of lounges, restrooms, and offices.
• Operate washers, dryers, vacuums, and other housekeeping equipment.
• Observe and report any needed repairs to equipment or facilities.

A housekeeper will provide one-on-one support to our residents by perform daily cleaning tasks in their rooms. We like to think we are visitors in their home and you will have the opportunity to get to know each resident on a personal level. You will also be responsible for common areas, lounges, restrooms, and offices.

Part Time: Every Other Weekend 7:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.

• Perform all housekeeping-related tasks while demonstrating service orientation to fellow co-workers, residents.
• Perform basic cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods.
• Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and recommends repairs as needed.
• Observe and report the general need for repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures.
• Operate washers and dryers, vacuum cleaner, call bell/intercom/telephone systems, and other housekeeping equipment deemed necessary and appropriate.
• Approaches work with a flexible attitude.
• Prior experience in similar environment preferred.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
