Mahler Private Staffing is seeking experienced Housekeepers to join a private household team in Greenwich, CT. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will help maintain a beautifully presented home with warm, attentive service and exceptional discretion.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a fine private residence or luxury environment.
• Knowledge of professional cleaning methods and the care of fine surfaces, linens, and garments.
• Warm, discreet, and able to work unobtrusively in a private family home.
• Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to take direction within a team.
• Excellent, verifiable references.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping, detailed cleaning, periodic deep cleaning, and household organization while maintaining high presentation standards.
• Care for fine furnishings, surfaces, linens, wardrobes, delicate garments, closets, and storage areas.
• Maintain family spaces, bathrooms, guest rooms, and back-of-house areas so they remain polished and ready for use.
• Monitor household supplies, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products and communicate replenishment needs to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team and other household staff, following established routines and direction from the Executive Housekeeper.
• Respect the family’s privacy and routines, moving quietly and discreetly through the home.
• Provide thoughtful support during family entertaining, including occasional later evenings and light weekend coverage.

A private family relocating to Greenwich, CT is seeking experienced Housekeepers to join its established household team. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, these professionals will help maintain a beautifully presented, welcoming home while delivering warm, attentive service with exceptional discretion.

The family has school-aged children and a small dog and is known for retaining valued employees over the long term. The residence is supported by a well-structured Family Office team.

Ideal candidates are kind, polished, and highly discreet. They should understand how to anticipate needs, move quietly and unobtrusively through the home, and contribute positively to a collaborative team. The family admires the gracious, intuitive service found at Aman resorts and seeks Housekeepers who can bring that same calm, thoughtful approach to everyday household care.

• Care for fine furnishings, surfaces, linens, wardrobes, delicate garments, closets, and household storage areas with appropriate techniques and close attention to detail
• Maintain family spaces, bathrooms, guest rooms, and back-of-house areas so they remain polished, orderly, and ready for use
• Monitor household supplies, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products and communicate replenishment needs to the Executive Housekeeper
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team and other household staff, following established routines, standards, and direction from the Executive Housekeeper

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a fine private residence, estate, yacht, or luxury hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of professional cleaning methods and the proper care of fine surfaces, furnishings, linens, and garments
• Warm, caring, polished, and highly discreet, with the judgment to work unobtrusively in a private family home
• Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking direction while contributing positively to a team
• Flexible and service-minded, with a no-job-too-small attitude and an appreciation for gracious, intuitive hospitality
• Excellent, verifiable references

Schedule

• Generally, Monday–Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Some scheduling flexibility may be available to accommodate school schedules for candidates with children (earlier start and finish, for example)
• The housekeeping team will collectively share responsibility for light weekend coverage and occasional later evenings when the family entertains

Compensation

• Salary range $50 to $55/hour commensurate with experience
