Job summary

Relais & Châteaux is seeking an in-house Housekeeper in Greenville, Maine. You will ensure the cleanliness and aesthetics of 10 guest rooms, 6 cabins, 5 suites, 2 restaurants, and public areas, while coordinating inventory and daily service with the team.

You will deliver personalized hospitality, maintain high hygiene standards, and follow health and safety protocols in a luxury setting at a boutique estate on a hillside with expansive lake views.

AS HOUSEKEEPER

• You are in charge of the cleanliness, hygiene, aesthetics and the proper functioning of equipment in our 10 guest rooms, 6 cabins, 5 suites, 2 restaurants and public areas.
• You participate in the good organization of our inventory and daily coordination of the service.
• You ensure a quality of reception and personalized services with our customers in room.
• You ensure compliance with our hygiene standards.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience (minimum 1-2 years) in housekeeping, hospitality, or related hospitality service environment
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Strong work ethic with demonstrated reliability and consistent punctuality
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
• Guest-oriented mindset with a genuine commitment to delivering personalized, quality service
• Ability to work effectively as a collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment
• Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 50 pounds, and work on feet for extended periods
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical safety, and equipment operation
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and comply with health, safety, and hygiene protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a resort, hotel, or multi-unit property environment
• Proficiency with housekeeping management systems and cleaning equipment
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and staff
