Job summary

Laughlin Healthcare Center in Greeneville, TN is seeking an Environmental Services Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe resident spaces daily and deep-clean as needed.

You will follow infection control policies, wear appropriate PPE, and report equipment defects to the Environmental Services Director. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily and deep cleaning schedules are followed.
• Maintain high standards of personal presentation and hygiene; follow infection control policies and wear proper PPE.
• Use equipment safely and report defects to the Environmental Services Director.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director and/or Administrator.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information (PHI).

Environmental Services Housekeeper Position Summary

As an EVS Housekeeper at Laughlin Healthcare, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene and always adhere to infection control policies, using the correct PPE.
• Ensure all equipment is correctly and safely used and report any defects to the Environmental Services Director.
• Carries out other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director and/or Administrator.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
