Job summary

Haven on the River is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe rooms for residents at our on-site facility in Grayville, IL. The role supports the comfort and wellbeing of residents, performing cleaning tasks in rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

We value attention to detail, compassion, and reliability. Full-time benefits include health, dental and vision, 401(k), PTO, daily pay, and employee perks. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Related experience in housekeeping or facilities preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and listening communication.
• Ability to multitask and provide compassionate service.
• Willingness to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms and bathrooms to ensure a sanitary, comfortable environment.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobby and nurses' stations.
• Make beds and prepare rooms for new residents.
• Assist with room changes and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines.

As a Housekeeper you will:

• Clean residents’ rooms.


• Making sure bathrooms are clean and tidy.


• Sweeping and mopping rooms and bathrooms


• Cleaning and making beds as assigned.


• Cleaning common areas such as, front lobby, nurses’ stations, public bathrooms, offices, etc.


• Assists in room changes as needed.
