Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across residential living spaces and common areas within a gated retirement community in Glen Mills, PA. Starts at $16.00/hour, commensurate with experience. No travel required.

You will clean resident homes, lobbies, classrooms, and bathrooms using specialized equipment, with opportunities for education assistance and a 401(k). Onsite parking is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care and hard floor care equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles.
• Demonstrates professional and responsive interactions with residents, families, staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident homes in Independent Living or Nursing Home rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of the community with specialized equipment.
• Clean public bathrooms, counters, mirrors, sinks and fixtures.
• Vacuum lobbies and living areas, dusting, decluttering, trash removal.
• Clean classrooms with dusting, vacuuming, and boards.
• Assist with trash collection, disposal, and liner replacement.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces via extraction, interim cleaning and vacuuming.

Location: Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living

We are hiring a Housekeeper for our gated retirement community. All of our clients are located within our community, so no travel is involved!

Compensation: Starts at $16.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

How you will make an impact

• Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment.
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.
