The successful candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Weekend work may be required to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Ability to operate standard custodial cleaning equipment.

• Reliable attendance, punctuality and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and floor care.
• Conduct high dusting and detailed cleaning of surfaces, fixtures and common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures and safety protocols.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals, supplies and equipment according to training and guidelines.
• Maintain organized and stocked cleaning supply and equipment storage areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding cleaning needs or concerns.
• Support a safe and professional work environment at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment within assigned facilities. This position performs routine and detailed cleaning tasks to ensure safe, welcoming spaces for occupants, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while contributing to a team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and floor care

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods

• Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment

• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat and cold

• Physical stamina to perform routine and strenuous cleaning tasks
