Forsyth Residence Inn by Marriott is hiring a dedicated Housekeeper to clean rooms and public areas, maintaining brand standards and guest comfort.

Responsibilities include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, deep-clean areas as directed, and following safety procedures. 6 months to 1 year of similar experience preferred; ability to stand for long periods required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform cleaning duties to brand and company minutes per room standards.
• Good physical stamina to stand for long periods and move heavy items.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure rooms meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Sorts, cleans, and restocks rooms and public areas according to brand standards.
• Cleans guest rooms including bathrooms and kitchens where applicable.
• Replenishes supplies such as towels, amenities, and linens.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and supplies in work areas.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Sorts, courts, folds, marks or carries linens
• Cleans rooms in accordance to specific brand and company minutes per room standard
• Cleans guest rooms, including guest bathrooms and kitchen area if applicable, according to company and franchise standards including but not limited to: making beds; emptying wastebaskets; emptying and cleaning ashtrays; moving furniture; handing drapes; sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; and dusting furniture
• Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, writing, bathroom supplies, and linen
• Deep cleans areas as directed by supervisor including but not limited to: cleaning rugs, upholstered furniture and draperies; washing walls, ceilings, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area
• All other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• Preferably 6 months – 1+ year of similar experience
• Ability to clean rooms in accordance with specific brand and company minutes per room standard.
• Ability to clean areas as directed by supervisor including.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
