Job summary

Village Veranda at Lady Lake in Florida is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and dignified living environment for residents. You will follow a cleaning schedule and perform dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of all common areas, while assisting with laundry as needed.

This full-time position requires strong communication, empathy, and teamwork. The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with one weekend per month, and adherence to HIPAA and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping of common areas.

• Maintain a safe, clean environment and respond to resident requests with empathy.
• Assist residents during dining and participate in leisure activities.

Now Hiring Housekeeper!Shift Type: 8:30AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday Shift Available with One Weekend per MonthSummary: Responsible for demonstrating and promoting SRIM's core value of the Golden Rule, treating others (residents, families, and associates) in the same way we would like to be treated, and under direct supervision providing a variety of housekeeping and/or laundry duties while maintaining the community in an orderly, clean, and sanitary condition by performing the following duties.Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Follows established cleaning schedule.*Completes daily dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping of all common areas.*Follows established schedule for \"deep cleaning\" of resident rooms.*Cleans administrative offices as scheduled.*Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms.*Cleans carpets and mops all floors upon request.*Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents.*Ensures and supports a dignified and caring atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and associates.*Responds promptly and courteously to resident's, families, and visitors requests for assistance.*Speaks to/interacts with residents showing empathy, kindness, compassion, and respect.*Communicates effectively in a language that each resident is capable of understanding.*Maintains a safe and secure working environment free of objects/situations that could cause harm and/or falls to residents, families visitors and associates.*Practices good body mechanics and safe working habits.*Observes and reports safety hazards immediately to supervisor.*Provides assistance to associates when requested or required.*Knows, understands and follows established policy and procedures in emergency situations.*Is considered essential personnel during emergencies and/or inclement weather.
