Job summary

Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Massachusetts is seeking a part-time housekeeper to support our daily housekeeping operations. The role features a 7a-3p shift across three days per week and pays $16 per hour, with on-the-job training provided for those without prior experience.

You will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, performing routine cleaning, carpet care, and safety practices as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
• A minimum of one (1) year experience in housekeeping in a nursing home or related medical facility is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents' rooms are neat, clean and free from odor.
• Wet mops floors daily.
• Shampoo and extract carpets as per schedule.
• Attend to spills immediately.
• Empty trash liners and clean containers.
• Clean bed and rails with disinfectant.
• Clean all countertops, windowsills, bedside tables, furniture and over the bed.
• Strip, seal and refinish floors as per schedule.
• Clean floor edges and corners to prevent build-up.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Clean personal items, pictures, decorations, flowers, etc.
• Demonstrate correct safety techniques.

Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is looking for a part-time Housekeeper!

Weekly pay at $16 an hour. 7a-3p shift, three days a week. Week 1 is Mon, Fri & Sat. Week 2 is Sun, Wed, & Fri.

As a member of our housekeeping team, you perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department to ensure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Education and Experience:

• No experience necessary, on-the-job training provided.
