Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will support resident comfort and well-being by performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks, while following infection control policies and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes positive interaction with residents and staff, adherence to procedures, and the ability to carry out assigned duties with reliability within our service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Residency within the service area may apply.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance is required.
• Must be able to lift/push up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation per procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to keep a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering good service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
