Job summary

Yugo in Eugene, OR is seeking a Housekeeper to keep common areas clean and ready units for new residents, ensuring a welcoming living environment and strong curb appeal. You will report to the General Manager, perform daily cleaning of offices and amenities, assist with turnover units, manage supplies, and greet residents with a friendly, professional presence.

1+ year experience preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in residential properties or related operations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to use technology and online systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of common areas (office, clubhouse, kitchen, laundry, elevators, hallways).
• Prepare vacant units by cleaning appliances, floors, fixtures, and cabinets.
• Walk the property daily to ensure cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
• Clean and tidy occupied units as needed for a welcoming environment.
• Assist with trash pickup and maintain a safe community.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report orders.
• Build positive relationships with residents with a friendly, professional presence.
• Report maintenance issues to the General Manager or Supervisor.
• Assist in organizing turnovers and make-ready units.
• Follow safety procedures and attend trainings as required.

As the Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our spaces remain clean, comfortable, and welcoming. You’ll be responsible for maintaining common areas, preparing units for new residents, and contributing to an exceptional living environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will help create a positive experience for students, ensuring they feel at home in a well-kept space.

Reporting to the General Manager, here’s what you’ll be doing!

Perform daily cleaning of common areas including office, clubhouse, kitchen, laundry rooms, elevators, and hallways.

Prepare vacant units by thoroughly cleaning appliances, floors, fixtures, cabinets, windows, and more.

Walk the property daily to inspect for cleanliness, safety, and maintain great curb appeal.

Clean and tidy occupied units as needed, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents.

Assist with trash pick-up and help maintain a clean and safe community.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any necessary orders to the General Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.

Build positive relationships with residents by offering a friendly greeting and maintaining a professional, helpful presence.

Report any unusual conditions or maintenance issues to the General Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.

Assist in organizing and cleaning corporate units, turnovers, and make-ready units.

Follow company procedures regarding safety and emergencies, attending training and meetings as required.

A minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably in residential properties, rental operations or related business operations desired

High school graduate or equivalent,

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain quality relationships

Attention to accuracy and quality; looks for ways to improve and innovate

Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner

Be proficient in working with technology and adaptable to online systems.
